I love meeting new people and helping them reach their goals. I started by managing large teams in education companies, as Regional Director, Executive Director, Co-Director, Senior Managing Director, etc. Now, as an Operations & Management Specialist and Results Consultant, I get to partner with inspired, visionary leaders, like you, who are ready to accelerate their organization’s growth, transform their teams from ordinary to extraordinary, and realign with their personal goals.
I’m fueled by results and personal relationships. As a second-generation Los Angeles native, I learned that I was happiest surrounded by people who mattered to me who were engaged in work that mattered to me. I left home at 16 to pursue a degree in Human Biology at Stanford University. There, I found my tribe, and after graduation, I found an opportunity with other Stanford graduates to focus full-time on helping to grow a small educational start-up in Silicon Valley into a powerhouse educational brand that would later be acquired by the Washington Post.
Over the next 11 years with this company, I earned promotion after promotion, eventually running 34 learning centers across 5 markets in California while earning my Master’s degree in Business Management (MBA) from Pepperdine University. I took those for-profit skills with me as I transitioned into nonprofit management at Teach for America, The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems, and CFY. As an operational specialist, I can help you to identify the key business levers and the key people who can help you to achieve your mission. I join your team, dig deep and do the work, and through that learning, help you to refine your strategy and achieve your mission.
Occasionally, however, I’d find myself focusing on the wrong people and forgetting which wins mattered the most. This made it difficult to keep the promises I made to my team and to myself. Work cost me a few personal relationships I treasured. It was helpful to be reminded that I had developed a generation of organizational leaders by focusing on the right people and the right results. It was time for me to find my tribe again—those pleasant, purpose-driven achievers who want to deliver on promises made at work and then go home to their families and friends.
My former employees and friends started introducing me to more of these people who all needed help. And I became their guide. They started hiring me to help with projects as short as one day to as long as over two years.
It’s time to amplify what you love most about your career and to engage those around you in the effort. I am inspired to be the partner who eliminates obstacles and helps to accelerate results.
